Monument to the Fallen of Nassyria

The 19 victims of the terrorists dead in Nassiriya are celebrated in the Parco Schuster, near the Basilica of S.Paolo, by 19 bronze works disseminated in a tortuous maze made of travertine blocks. Only children’s innocence, symbolized by the straight aligned low openings in the walls, allow them to master the maze corridors and guide man through and beyond the irrationality of war.
